County) with private bear hunts, moose hunts, whitetail deer
hunts area near Mattawamkeag and Pleasant Lakes on Route #2.
The vast Northeastern Wilderness area, which surrounds the
lodge, hails an abundance of lakes, ponds, streams and rivers
with some excellent Landlocked Salmon, Brook Trout, Bass and
Pickerel fishing.
Spring and summer offer outdoor ventures in fishing, canoeing,
swimming, hiking, photography, 4-wheeling, and relaxing vacations;

area is remote hunting, but easy to guide you on this Maine
hunt, as the brooks, streams, logging roads-old and new
outline your hunting areas. We point the way and give 110%
in assisting you in a good time and bagging your trophy.
Even the most inexperienced hunter can become successful
with just a little guidance. Excellent bear hunting and
whitetail deer hunting within walking distance of the lodge.
The winter months provide the outdoor enthusiast with snowmobiling
endless miles of remote trails in Maine, ice fishing at
its best: coyote and snowshoe hare hunting with excellent
results.

The
Bear Creek Lodge in Maine is all log with a huge fireplace
that divides the dining room and living rooms. Everything
is centralized for your comfort. All meals are home prepared
and cooked Three square meals per day served family style.
We take a limited amount of hunters so there is no overcrowding,
more personalized and higher success, for the serious hunter,
you!
One-half mile off the main road, setting is in a birch grove,
with beautiful scenic view of Mt. Katahdin and Baxter State
Park in the background.
